The Flint City Bucks Fall to Vermont City FC in USL Two final game, 2-1

On Aug. 1, the Flint City Bucks headed into the United Soccer League Two finals against Vermont Green Football Club at Atwood Stadium. After an impressive season for the Bucks, they fell to Vermont Green FC 2-1. 

The first goal was scored for Vermont Green FC in the 62nd minute. It was an own goal, scored by the goalie, Steven Clark of the Flint City Bucks.

The second goal was scored by the Flint City Bucks No.6 Matthew Paiva, assisted by No.5 Ellis Jones, in the 65th minute of the match.

The third and final goal was scored on a penalty kick from No.27 Ryan Zellefrow of Vermont Green FC. It was scored in the 76th minute. 

This loss caps off the postseason for the Bucks and brings their season record to 14 wins, two losses and one tie.
